We know 2020 was a difficult year and the beginning of 2021 hasn’t been too kind either. But we would like to think that we can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. At Access Masters, we are also doing our best to support your journey as a prospective graduate student and make it memorable.

This is why we launched the Access Masters scholarship initiative. Every year, two prospective Masters students will each receive EUR 1,000 to help fund their graduate school studies. How? All it takes is participation in one of our education events where you can get advice directly from university representatives.

Starting a Masters degree in Italy with a scholarship

If you are about to graduate from your Bachelor’s and dream of getting a Masters taught in English, you can get help in achieving your dream. Maria Nestor, who took part in the Access Masters Bucharest Online Event in November 2020, is now preparing for her study abroad in Italy. Maria is the lucky event participant who won EUR 1,000 to help her fund her graduate school programme. Her scholarship will go towards financing her Masters degree in Food and Health, starting in October 2021.

I knew I wanted an international experience since I was 16, when I chose to study at a high school in a foreign country. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made, as I discovered my passion for Biology there,” Maria tells Access Masters.

So, what did Maria have to do to secure financial aid for her Masters studies?

First, she signed up for the free online event organised in her geographic region. Then, she closely followed the information we shared with her. The email communication up until the date of the event is important for participants so they can have a truly useful and user-friendly online experience. This includes the event schedule, helpful links, preparation tips, and more. Finally, Maria did not forget to tune in on time for the Access Masters online event where she talked to university representatives from around the world.

As you can see, the process is not difficult at all which means you might just be the next scholarship recipient to help fund your studies. As long as you have a Bachelor’s degree or are about to graduate with one and are looking for a Masters taught in English, you are eligible for the scholarship. During the event, participants have to take part in at least three meetings with university admissions officers to be eligible for the final prize.

There are no other restrictions for participants. You can take part in Access Masters events and join the competition regardless of your nationality or age.
