The graduate certificate in gerontology provides an opportunity for those who have completed a bachelor’s degree in another discipline to obtain a greater understanding of gerontology theory and research. The program consists of 16 units (4 courses) of study in gerontology designed to offer a broad range of knowledge, which relate to professional practice. Students in the certificate program also have the option to take classes residentially or through our internet-based courses. There is no internship requirement for the certificate program.
