The Master in Finance is designed for those who wish to acquire and deepen their knowledge and training in various domains of finance. Based on the most recent financial developments, this programme extends and enhances professional competences, combining the latest developments in finance theory with the analysis of complex real cases. Students are prepared to become highly qualified professionals in several areas of finance, such as valuation of real and financial assets, investments performance, financial institutions management, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, international finance, derivatives and risk management, volatility modeling and forecasting, and behavioral finance. The programme also creates incentives to a first approach to scientific research in these areas. All courses are fully taught in English.
The Master in Finance is acknowledged by the CFA Institute as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct within the programme.
