Let’s hope that 2022 will be a better year, full of learning and new beginnings. With Access Masters, you can already start the next chapter of your educational journey by exploring exciting school opportunities abroad or at home.

The 2022 Spring Tour is right around the corner, so check out what you will benefit from by attending one of the free Masters events coming up.

Discover study options in person and online

While the world is still grappling with the Covid-19 pandemic, some destinations are starting to push ahead with physical gatherings. For small-scale events with strict safety precautions like Access Masters, this can be a great opportunity to connect in a more personal way.

As early as January 2022, London, Paris, and Brussels should be able to welcome prospective students in person and introduce them to the world’s best graduate schools. In February, Milan, Madrid, and Moscow will follow with more face-to-face events. March is dedicated to five cities in South America, while the month of May is reserved for in-person events in Budapest, Sofia, Bucharest, and Istanbul.

Last-minute changes are always possible, but for now we can look forward to these opportunities with hope and excitement.

Meanwhile, just because you cannot visit a face-to-face event does not mean you will not be able to learn about your dream school opportunities. Whether you reside in Europe, India, South America, Asia, or Africa, you and your friends will have the chance to virtually connect with graduate school representatives throughout spring 2022.

Win a meaningful prize by attending an event

Sometimes a little motivation can go a long way. That’s why Access Masters has been rewarding you – our event participants – with prizes that are not only fun to win, but also motivate your studies.

Over the years, the campus visit lottery has always been a much-appreciated initiative. It enables prospective students to travel to a country of their choice for a tour of their dream university. In 2019, Athanasia Ageliki Theodorou attended an event hosted by Access Masters and she was the lucky winner of this prize. “I was truly excited and curious to see and learn all I could to help me in my decision on where to study for a Masters degree, she said in her interview.

But that is not all. In view of the limited international travel at the start of the pandemic, we launched a EUR/USD 1,000 scholarship. By taking part in any Access Masters event completely free of charge and meeting school representatives, attendees automatically enter the scholarship competition.

Maria Nestor, the scholarship winner from 2021, expressed her enthusiasm for this opportunity. “In my search for suitable programmes, I discovered this event and decided to participate, as there were several universities I was interested in,” she said. “I liked the idea of one-to-one meetings with the university representatives, so I booked three of them. The meetings were very informative and the admission officers were really friendly. I honestly did not expect to feel so relaxed when talking to them.

Get more inspiration from alumni and partner talks

Talking to school representatives is extremely valuable when trying to make the right choice for your study experience. Moreover, each event participant gets access to additional opportunities for planning their studies. School presentations, panel discussions, and alumni talks are an important part of the event schedule.

With school presentations, you get to learn the most exciting details of a featured university. This is a less interactive format, but it gives admissions advisers more time to go into detail about essential programme information.

Panel discussions go even further by welcoming three or four universities, whose representatives answer pressing questions. What are the types of Masters degrees and how do they differ? How early should candidates start preparing their Masters application? How important is the location of the school for post-graduation employment opportunities? If you are interested in hearing authentic answers to these questions, you should not miss the panel discussion format.

Events in some regions also feature talks with current graduate students and alumni. Their stories will give you the most realistic view of the life and career perspectives of a Masters student. Their experience will be fresh and they have definitely been in your shoes before.

So which graduate school opportunities will you grab first?
