TUM's Young Professionals program for Innovation Managers of the Future, the Master in Management & Innovation, is a recently established Executive/Professional program. This 2-year full-time program is a great platform for developing an inspiring career in Europe. There are two different tracks to the program: the TUM Track & the Double Degree Track.
The Double Degree Track is a joint program with HEC Paris, one of Europe's elite business schools. Participants spend the first year in Paris studying at HEC and the second year at TUM in Munich focusing on Innovation and Growth Strategies. Graduates will finish the program with a Master's Degree from both universities.
The TUM Track provides an in-depth look at the German economy and introduces the secrets of the German Mittelstand, less-famous but always dynamic family businesses in the Heilbronn region (near our new branch campus where the initial two semesters of this track are based), and also a 2nd year of studies in innovation prototyping and leadership in Munich. A Study Trip to China is also an integral part of this program.
For more senior professionals with 5+ years of work experience, TUM offers three different Executive MBA programs: Executive MBA for Managers & Experts; Executive MBA in Business & IT, and Executive MBA in Innovation & Business Creation. All EMBA programs are modular and therefore participants from around the world can also join these part-time programs.
Educating the Innovation Managers of the Future is the goal of the four-semester Master in Management & Innovation. The program is aimed at young professionals who have some initial career experience under their belts and are passionate about bridging the gap between management and technology. As a graduate of this unique English-language program, you will have the ability to foster smart innovation within organizations.
Choose between our two program tracks:
Whichever track you follow, you spend your third semester in Munich taking course modules such as Innovation Prototyping, Technological Trends and Growth Strategies & Business Models. You further develop your personal and leadership skills and work on a real-life project in a startup or other enterprise in the Munich area. The fourth semester is dedicated to writing your Master’s thesis under the direction of our professors.
