The duration of the MA in Economic Policy in Global Markets is two academic years. The department offers two Master's degrees: Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy (MESP); and Master of Science in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management (MESPOM). The length of study for the MESP Program is ten and a half months and for the MESPOM program two years. The MESPOM program began in 2005/2006 in cooperation with three other leading European Universities - Lund University (Sweden), the University of Manchester (UK) and the University of the Aegean (Greece). MESPOM has been selected and funded as an Erasmus Mundus course by the European Commission.

The one-year MA program offers a condensed grounding in interdisciplinary gender studies for students with substantial previous background in gender studies or a related field (a minimum of a four-year BA is required). Applicants are asked to demonstrate their formal or informal exposure to some aspect of gender studies, along with evidence of initial thinking about a broad area of research. Applicants for the LL.M. in Human Rights program must have completed their undergraduate studies in law before enrolling to the program. A law degree will be considered as adequate if, in a given country, academically it would allow the applicant to take the bar exam. Non-university practice or traineeship periods for such bar exam shall not be necessary. 

Applicants for the M.A. in Human Rights program must have completed their undergraduate university studies before enrolling to the program.  Admission with a three-year Bachelor’s degree* (including three-year Bachelor of Laws) may be possible for suitable candidates in exceptional cases such as excellent grades, relevant work experience, previous coursework and/or other demonstrated commitment to human rights.  

Applicants for the LL.M. in Comparative Constitutional Law program must have completed their undergraduate studies in law before enrolling to the program. A law degree will be considered as adequate if, in a given country, academically it would allow the applicant to take the bar exam. Non-university practice or traineeship periods for such bar exam shall not be necessary. Candidates with a degree in social sciences (e.g. political science, international relations, etc) may also apply for admission, provided their degrees have had some significant legal element.   

Applicants for the LL.M. in Global Business Law and Regulation program must possess a qualifying law degree from an accredited university or other accredited tertiary educational institution. A qualifying law degree is one that satisfies the academic requirements for admission to the bar in a given jurisdiction.

The Department of Philosophy offers two MA programs in Philosophy: a two-year program and a one-year program. Holders of at least a four-year degree in philosophy may apply for both the two-year and one-year MA programs. Holders of a three-year bachelor’s degree in philosophy should, as a rule, apply for the two-year MA program rather than the one-year program.
