The Master of Finance is a rigorous, 16-month, 39-unit course-based graduate program that will provide students with the analytical, computational, and quantitative skills and knowledge necessary for professional careers in finance.
The program is for students with a strong quantitative background looking to transition into finance positions requiring more intensive technical skills than those in Master of Business Administration (MBA) finance courses and sub-specializations or the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
The Master of Finance provides firm foundations of financial theories and empirical methods in finance. The program will offer three streams: Investment Management, Advisory and Corporate Development, and Fintech. Each of these streams provides a distinct career path. At launch, all three of the streams will be available for students to choose from. On their application, students will rank their preference. If a particular stream has low enrollment, the program will work with the student(s) to ensure they are able to enroll in their second preferred choice.
In the last semester of the program, Master of Finance students can choose from two Work Integrated Learning courses: Professional Internship in Finance, Research Consulting Project.
