This internationally-oriented degree program, which is fully taught in English and devoted to information technologies, digital transformation and sustainability, is one of a kind.
It's a double degree. Every student will do the first half of their degree with us in Switzerland, i.e. the first set of 60 ECTS and the second half of their degree at a partner university abroad, i.e. the second set of 60 ECTS, including a master’s thesis. Thus, all students on this degree receive two degrees, one from HSLU and one from their partner university of choice, thereby underpinning the intercultural and international aspect of the MSc in IT, Digitalization and Sustainability. Further, intercultural exchange is truly lived and practised. Students will definitely need to spend their third semester outside of Switzerland, and, depending on their choice of partner, the fourth and final semester can be spent writing thesis remotely, while back in Switzerland, or, at the partner university abroad.
