Master in Management - MiM

Since 2013 GSOM SPbU Master in Management program has been continuously included to the Financial Times Global Masters in Management ranking as the only Russian rep. The focus of the program is to help students to apply analytical, research and leadership qualities as well as innovative methods and unique knowledge when developing and implementing functional business strategies in perspective of rapidly changing environment and severe competition.

The unique educational process is based on case study method in combination with the obligatory internship in a company and final consulting project for one of the leaders of international business.

Students of the program have a chance to deepen their knowledge in most appealing for them areas: Marketing, International Business, Information Technologies & Innovation Management and other.

International Business (IB)

This concentration focuses on development of students’ professional, analytical and research competencies in global business issues. Graduates of this concentration are qualified for the performing effective professional activity in the field of management of organizations, departments, groups (teams) of employees, projects and networks in the fast-growing Russian and international companies in a global environment.

Marketing (Mark)

The goal of the program is to prepare top marketing experts, which can solve marketing issues in the field of creation and market launch of new products, including innovative ones, product development strategy in the context of globalization. During classes students learn how to conduct marketing research by applying methodological and practical knowledge, organize research projects, and prepare analytical information for management decision-making in the field of strategic and operational marketing.

Information Technologies & Innovation Management (ITIM)

This concentration was developed with the support of the OJSC RUSNANO Group for the preparation of business analysts with a broad field of specialization with an emphasis on Russian and international hi-tech projects management, working within companies with high intellectual capital, as well as in high technology companies focusing on innovative approaches and design in telecommunications, information technology industry, energetics and transportation.

International Logistics & Supply Chain Management (IL&SCM)

The program developed in cooperation with Deutsche Bahn and Russian Railways prepares high qualified specialists and top managers in the sphere of logistics and supply chain management.

Master in Corporate Finance - MCF (in Partnership with Citi)

The program is aimed at preparation of unique specialists in the field of corporate finance for banks and finance departments of international companies. The collaboration with Citi bank offers students the opportunity to get the most relevant knowledge. Best graduates have a chance to become a part of the leading organizations of banking and financial sector.

Master in Public Management – MPM

With the rapid development and strengthening of new public management concept in Russia both  public and private sector increase the demand for highly qualified specialists in the field of public management, which possess a unique set of competencies and management skills to address the strategic objectives of regional and urban development.  The GSOM SPbU MPM program is focused on the preparation of highly qualified managers for regional and urban administrations, analysts and consultants for non-governmental think tanks and international consulting agencies, specializing in regional and urban development, as well as GR experts for private sector companies.

Since 2013 GSOM SPbU MIM program is the only Russian Business Program ranked among the best programs around the world in the international Financial Times Global Masters in Management ranking (In 2016 - #39 out of 90). In 2016 it was also ranked by The Economist “Which MBA?” ranking.

Length of Course:

2 years + 6 months for the fulfillment of the final qualifying requirements upon individual schedule for joint- and double-degree students.

Tuition fees*

MiM, MCF - ₽ 400 000 per year for Russian citizens (around € 5 700), ₽ 450 000 per year (around € 6 500) for foreign candidates;

MPM -  ₽ 300 000 per year for Russian citizens (around € 4 300), ₽ 350 000 per year  (around € 5 000) for foreign candidates;
