University services include 55 libraries (two with 24-hour reading rooms), 18 museums, the Ciao and Hello Orientation Offices, a Sort – Orientation and Tutoring Office in each faculty, a Disabled Students Office, the Job Soul Placement Office, and a Public Relations Office. Thanks to a wide network of agreements with universities around the world, Sapienza also provides its students many international opportunities, including double degrees, scholarships abroad, internships in European and non-European countries, and international doctorates.

If you are interested in applying to one of our programmes, either in Italian or in English, your language level should be the B2 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (upper intermediate). Our international programmes in English require different academic backgrounds, based on the field of study. Please check the specific requirements for each programme or contact its academic coordinator. According to Italian law, students applying to a Bachelor's Programme must have completed at least 12 years of school; students applying to a Master's programme must hold at least a 3-year Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Most English-taught programmes admit international students through an online pre-selection application, available at www.uniroma1.it/en

Tuition fees are particularly convenient for all international students, thanks to public investments by the Ministry of Higher Education. The cost is 1000 euros per year. Additionally, there are various scholarships available at different levels: National (“Invest Your Talent in Italy”, MAECI Scholarship), Regional (DiSCo) and University (“Don’t Miss Your Chance”). Once you are enrolled, you can apply for a range of merit-based scholarships (Erasmus+, on-campus jobs, etc.).
